I live and work in Poltava, Ukraine.
I graduated from Military Engineering Technical Academy in 1997. After graduating, I served for about two years as a military officer. After that, I left the military service seeking new career opportunities and hoping to satisfy the tendency to science, computers and IT.

Web Development

My stack is MySQL, PHP, Javascript and jQuery including a solid experience with HTML and CSS.

The first serious work started in 2002 when I created my first website. It was the very first domestic E-commerce solution in our city, Poltava. It was about automotive spare parts, written on Perl and hosted at a local ISP server. For the next decade after launching the website, I mostly worked on maintaining and updating that website. It had migrated from Perl to PHP. A few minor websites were created.

In 2012 I decided to focus solely on web programming and as a part-time developer, I joined DPPL - an IT company based in New York, USA. Since then I've been working on many projects, mostly for large and mid-size corporate clients. The work included both back-end and front-end stuff.

In 2021 I got more time for my individual projects and started working also at Upwork as a freelancer. The main techniques I'm experienced in are:

MS Access Programming

I started programming in MS Access in 2000 with creation of a DBs for HR department and Accounting department of the company I was working at. Since then till the present time, a lot of MS Access solutions were created:

• Main management system for a trucking company (40+ vehicles) - dispatching, working time management, payrolls, mileage, fuel management, printing out waybills, working with customers - invoices, debt, daily/weekly/monthly reports, etc.
• Main dispatching tool for a bus company (20+ regular city buses). Waybills, schedule, working hours, payrolls, fuel management, income, expenses, analysis, and reports
• Spare parts warehouse management system for bus company's warehouse
• CMR management system for Swedish bus-reseller company. The tool was intended for creating and printing out CMR forms on the blank form on the matrix printer
• Main data processing tool for the Spare Parts E-commerce solution. Takes data from about 150 sources (suppliers), performs local processing, then prepares and exports to website
• A lot of smaller customised data-processing solutions

I find MS Access an easy-to-use, convenient and powerful tool for variety of programming tasks. With the ODBC driver, it's now possible to interact with remote MySQL tables directly. This opens up new possibilities for building MS Access solutions with custom cloud data storage and closer integration to the website.
